Hi Tim,

I had just opened the last sample of the Ugandan beans you sent through and have to say that they are a nice variety. Nice Crema when extracted and works well with espresso and milk based drinks.

A deeper flavour than some of the other varieties I have had, more dark fruit / nut notes that seemed to come through, nearly “earthy” for lack of a better word.

However it took me an extra grind to get them dialled in so the next batch I’ll be ready to sample at optimum settings and feedback again.

So far they seem like a nice variety to stock, if I am honest everyone of your varieties I have had so far has been a very smooth, balanced cup all with their own distinct notes, specifically fond of the yellow catuai and Maia China varieties, it’s a joy opening a new bag Knowing you’ll get a lovely smooth cup but with a different taste.
